About me

Over the past few years, I’ve grown increasingly discontent working typical jobs and hours for typical businesses. I have always searched for a direction professionally. After a few years of uninspired searching, I became drawn to entrepreneurship. Creating and growing a business has given me an outlet to channel my creativity, energy, and work ethic. Even with a strong theoretical foundation in business, the practical side is certainly accompanied by many learning moments. Juneau offers so much opportunity for young, motivated folks. I’m excited to be a small business owner, among many, who make Juneau such a wonderful place to live.

The conception of Fresh Tracks was not my own. I had recently moved to Juneau from Bellingham, Washington, where I graduated with a degree in Business. I was working for a friend in town who owns PaneFully Clean (a wonderful home exterior cleaning company). While working on a window cleaning project for a Juneau local, we started talking about our shared love for cooking and spending time outdoors. During that conversation, they said, “You know, what you should do is start a carpet cleaning company.” I left that job with a handful of warm peanut butter cookies and a spark of inspiration. Sometimes the best ideas come from an unexpected conversation. The company name “Fresh Tracks” is inspired by my love for skiing, the outdoors, and Juneau’s tremendous natural beauty.
